October 29/23 8:27 am - Canadian Cycling Hall of Fame Inducts 4 New Members

On Saturday, four new members were inducted into the Canadian Cycling Hall of Fame in a ceremony held at the Bromont Velodrome. Eric van den Eynde went in as a Builder for his decades of work as a coach and mentor to many of Canada's top riders. Kelly-Ann Way was inducted as an athlete for her trailblazing career as female rider that included the first ever North American stage win at the women's Tour de France. Lyne Bessette was inducted for a rider for a career that spanned both able and para cycling, including world titles and a Paralympic gold medal [with Robbi Weldon]. Guy Morin was inducted as a builder for his instrumental work in bring the 1974 Road World Championships to Montreal [his award was accepted by his daughter, Nancy Morin].
